Smart Home & Commercial Product Categories
What we specify, supply, and install across Cyprus — built on open protocols, designed to work together, and chosen for long-term reliability.
Lighting & Scenes
Layered lighting with dimming, tunable white, and scenes that match how rooms are actually used — from quiet evenings to working sessions.
- Per-room dimming and scene control
- Tunable white where it matters (kitchens, bedrooms, hospitality)
- Schedule-based and presence-aware automation
- Wall keypads, mobile, and voice control where appropriate
Used across every project — the foundation of comfort and ambience.
See Smart HomeClimate Control
HVAC, underfloor heating, and ventilation tied into a single comfort logic with occupancy, scheduling, and window-open detection.
- Multi-zone setpoints and schedules
- Occupancy and window logic to avoid waste
- Pre-conditioning for arrivals and turnovers
- Integration with thermostats, fan coils, VRF, and underfloor systems
Essential for homes, offices, and short-stay rentals where energy and comfort both matter.
See Hospitality use caseSecurity & Safety
Alarm, intrusion, smoke, water-leak, and gas sensors integrated into one event flow — so alerts trigger the right response, not just a notification.
- Intrusion and perimeter detection
- Smoke, CO, water leak, and gas monitoring
- CCTV integration where required
- Event-driven automation (lighting, lockdown, alerts)
Standard on premium homes; mandatory for commercial and multi-unit projects.
See Apartments & MDUsShading
Automated blinds, curtains, and pergolas tuned to sun position, temperature, and privacy preferences across the day.
- Solar/thermal automation (reduce cooling load)
- Glare and privacy scenes for living and meeting spaces
- Quiet motors, hard-wired or battery options
- Integrates with lighting and HVAC for combined logic
High impact in Cyprus climate — particularly south- and west-facing facades.
See Standard & RecommendationEnergy
Monitoring, smart load control, EV charging, and PV/battery integration so consumption is visible — and reducible — month by month.
- Whole-property and per-circuit monitoring
- Solar self-consumption optimization
- Smart load scheduling (water heating, EV, pool)
- Battery and grid-export strategies (where applicable)
Increasingly standard for villas, apartments, and any property with PV.
See MaintenanceAccess
Gates, doors, intercoms, and parking access tied into role-based permissions with clear administration for owners and operators.
- Smart locks, keypads, and remote entry
- Video intercom with mobile answering
- Temporary permissions for guests, cleaners, and staff
- Audit-friendly logs for commercial and rental properties
Critical for hospitality, apartments, and offices; convenient for villas.
See OfficesWhy we specify what we specify
Every product we recommend is chosen against the same four principles. The result is a system that stays maintainable for a decade — not just impressive on day one.
Open standards over proprietary lock-in
We avoid systems that trap you with a single vendor's app, account, or hardware lifecycle.
Local-first reliability
Core control runs locally so the home keeps working if the internet doesn't — cloud is for convenience, not dependence.
One interface, every system
Lighting, climate, security, shading, and energy should live in a single, consistent interface — not five apps.
Designed for expansion
We specify infrastructure that supports future zones, devices, and protocols without ripping out the core.
Open protocols, not closed ecosystems
The right protocol depends on the building, the budget, and the long-term plan. Most projects use a hybrid mix.
KNX
Wired bus-based protocol used in luxury homes and commercial projects. Independent of IT network — built for long-term stability.
Z-Wave
Low-power wireless mesh with thousands of certified devices. Strong for retrofit, lighting, sensors, and locks.
Thread / Matter
Modern IP-based mesh designed for low latency and cross-vendor interoperability via Matter.
Hybrid
Most real projects combine protocols: wired reliability where it counts, wireless flexibility where it makes sense.
Frequently asked product questions
Quick answers on brands, protocols, integration, and where to start.
Do you sell products directly, or only specify and install them?
We specify, supply, and install as part of complete projects. We do not run a standalone retail catalogue — product selection always follows a project scope, so what you receive fits your space, protocols, and long-term plan.
Which brands and product lines do you typically use?
We work with leading KNX, Z-Wave, Thread, and Matter-compatible brands chosen per project. The specific lines depend on budget, building constraints, and which protocols suit the property — we recommend after understanding the scope.
Can you integrate equipment I already own?
Often yes. We evaluate existing devices for protocol compatibility, reliability, and long-term support before recommending a path. Some hardware is worth keeping; some is worth replacing to avoid future maintenance issues.
What's the difference between KNX, Z-Wave, and Matter?
KNX is a wired standard used in premium homes and commercial buildings — exceptional reliability, higher install cost, ideal during construction. Z-Wave is a mature wireless mesh — great for retrofit. Thread/Matter is the newer IP-based ecosystem for cross-vendor interoperability.
Most premium projects use a hybrid mix tuned to the building and budget.
Will the system still work if the internet goes down?
Yes. We design local-first systems so lighting, climate, scenes, and security keep working without internet. Cloud services are used for remote access and notifications — not for core control.
How do I know which categories to start with?
Start with our Standard & Recommendation guide — it walks through a baseline that fits most projects, plus the add-ons worth considering early. From there, we tailor scope to your property and goals.
